Hande Coşkunlar, Chevening Officer, British Embassy Ankara
Hande has been graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Language, History and Geography in 2001 and continued her executive education on project management, marketing planning and strategy. Hande joined the FCDO as Chevening Officer in 2013 and she’s responsible for managing the Chevening Programme in Turkey. Before joining the FCDO Hande worked at the British Council for ten years on the successful delivery of the UK-Turkey Education projects and scholarship programmes. Hande is also responsible for leading the engagement of the Chevening/UK alumni network of young leaders, decision makers in Turkey working across a wide range of fields including politics, business, science, energy, environment, media and civil society.

Koray is responsible for policy-making, policy-innovation, coordination and academic guidance within the scholarship programme. Having studied at Istanbul University followed by Yeditepe University, Koray started working for the Ministry as Assistant Expert in 2015. Having completed a Ministerial Expertise Thesis on comparison of national scholarship programmes of Brazil, Estonia, Kazakhstan and Turkey, Koray was promoted to Expert in July 2020. He now has specific focus on promotion of the scholarship programme, research and the UK area.
